We re-open with a safe-dining and enhanced cleaning by using the hand sanitizer.

We went on Sunday for lunch. The place was almost empty, except for us and 2-3 small tables.
Ordered the flaming duck, shanghai juicy buns, fish, rice cakes and vegetarian dumplings.
They all were good and we didn’t wait for too long. Just be careful when eating the buns because they are very juicy. Bite the skin of the bun a little bit to suck the juice out.
Service was good, staff was quite attentive.
Price is on a more expensive side.

Another fantastic restaurant by the Shanghai street group. They successfully addressed all the shortcoming of the original Shanghai street Dumpling store and made it a much better experience. Apart from the best (I can say that as I am from where XiaoLongBao was invented) XiaoLongBao in Melbourne (Arguably the best in Australia), they now provide very authentic Shanghainese dishes in a much nicer environment without the queue and oily tables. It is without a doubt one of the best Chinese restaurant in Melbourne without a premium price tag.

One of my favourite Chinese restaurants in the city. Love their Xiao Long Bao and Vegetarian San Choi Bao. Not many can get these right but they ace it.

Fantastic Peking duck and a variety of dumplings in the heart of Melbourne CBD.

Thoroughly enjoy my dinner here. Had a catch up with 8 or so work colleagues and the way the meals are served is ideal for sharing. The lazy Susan in the centre of the table makes that even better. It’s somewhat off the beaten track so it’s not too busy. Prices are reasonable and the staff are very accommodating.

Excellent food and amazing service. Service staff were very attentive and friendly. This place is great for groups of friends and family. BYO available as well. Order the Xiao long bao, they’re one of the best in Melbourne here. The brown crab was full of flavour, perfect for garlic and crab lovers.

Dumplings, white table cloths, excellent food, attentive service & and full bar. This is Melbourne’s upmarket dumpling restaurant, and is very good place to eat. It is more expensive than ordinary dumpling places, but the different dumplings actually taste different! We had seafood, chicken, pork and vegetarian dumplings to share, and all were very good. Tea and water replenished at the table as part of good attentive service. Bar prices reasonable. Very nicely decorated and clean. All 4 of us really enjoyed our meal & will be back. A place to impress your guests.
